Instructions for Mainland China people to apply for admission to Taiwan-funeral services, transportation of remains and ashes

First, the applicable object:

(a) Chinese mainland people registered in Taiwan Province Province within three generations of blood relatives, spouse's parents, spouse or children's spouse died less than six months, you can apply to attend the funeral in Taiwan.

(2) Brothers and sisters over the age of 60 who are seriously ill or seriously injured may apply to be accompanied by their spouses if they apply to attend the funeral in Taiwan Province Province.

(3) Parents, spouses, children or siblings of Chinese mainland people who have died in Taiwan Province Province for less than six months may apply to enter Taiwan Province Province for funeral, but only two people are allowed.

(4) Persons in Chinese mainland whose blood relatives, spouses' parents, spouses or children died before 8 1, 12 and 3 1 in Taiwan Province Province may apply to enter Taiwan Province Province to transport their remains and ashes.

Second, the number of applications and matters needing attention:

(a) the number of times to apply for funeral services and transport remains and ashes is limited to 1 time, and each stay does not exceed 1 month without extension.

(2) Those who stay in Taiwan beyond the time limit or engage in activities inconsistent with the permitted purpose shall apply for a short stay in Taiwan after the expiration of the non-permitted period from the date of leaving the country. But mourning is not limited by this.

(3) When mainlanders apply to enter Taiwan Province Province, the documents presented in the mainland shall be verified by the Straits Exchange Foundation, a consortium legal person.

Three. Documents to be prepared:

(1) Please fill in the Application Form for Entry and Exit of Chinese mainland Personnel in detail, and attach the color photos taken in the last two years. The photos are not colored glasses, the facial features are clear and uncovered, and the photos are unchanged, which is enough to recognize the face. The body is 4.5 cm and the body is 3.5 cm, and the length of the portrait from the top of the head to the chin is not less than 3.2 cm, but more than 3.6 cm. It is not allowed to use a bronze plate with a white background.

(two) a copy of the identity card, other certificates or identity documents of mainland residents.

(3) documents of kinship, such as notarial certificate of kinship between the applicant and the mourner, transported remains and ashes, etc. (If the notarial certificate of kinship required for this application has been submitted in the previous application, the applicant or the agent applicant shall fill in and sign it in the blank space of the application. If the information is found by the service station, it is not required to attach the information. But if it is not found, it should be supplemented according to the notice. )

(4) Relevant supporting documents:

1, bereaved household registration book, copy of household registration book or ID card, copy of death certificate, 1.

2. Chinese mainland people who died in Taiwan Province were accompanied by Taiwan Province's death certificate.

3. Those who return the remains and ashes shall attach sufficient documents such as death certificate or court judgment before the end of August, 2010.

(5) Letter of guarantee: the guarantor issues a letter of guarantee signed by himself, and the original and photocopy of the guarantor's national identity card are returned after inspection, which will be checked by the service stations of the Immigration Bureau. Please refer to the instructions on the back of the guarantee for the qualification of the guarantor. )

(6) Power of Attorney: Unless the applicant personally delivers the documents from overseas, Hong Kong, Macao or the investigated person, the documents delivered by other relatives or travel agencies in Taiwan Province shall be accompanied by a power of attorney (if no relatives in Taiwan Province are delivered by friends, an instruction manual shall be attached).

(7) When the applicant is in the third region, a copy of the third region re-entry visa, third region residence permit or Hong Kong identity card should be attached.

(8) The license fee is NT$ 600 yuan (the mailer should attach a registered reply envelope, and fill in the recipient and address, which is not required by the sender).

Four. Application method:

(1) Where the applicant is overseas, he shall apply to the China embassy or consulate abroad, representative office, office or other institutions authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

(2) Applicants from Hong Kong or Macao should apply to Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (Hong Kong) (4th floor, Lippo Center 1 Block 89, Queensway, Hong Kong) or Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (Macau) (Block J ~ O, 5th floor, Empire Plaza, No.417, Macau Newport).

(3) If the applicant is in Chinese mainland, his relatives in Taiwan Province Province will apply to the service stations of entry and exit countries and counties and cities of the Immigration Department on his behalf (postal applications are not accepted).
