Instructions for Mainland China people to apply for admission to Taiwan-funeral services, transportation of remains and ashes

First, the applicable object:

(a) Chinese mainland people registered in Taiwan Province Province within three generations of blood relatives, spouse's parents, spouse or children's spouse died less than six months, you can apply to attend the funeral in Taiwan.

(2) Brothers and sisters over the age of 60 who are seriously ill or seriously injured may apply to be accompanied by their spouses if they apply to attend the funeral in Taiwan Province Province.

(3) Parents, spouses, children or siblings of Chinese mainland people who have died in Taiwan Province Province for less than six months may apply to enter Taiwan Province Province for funeral, but only two people are allowed.

(4) Persons in Chinese mainland whose blood relatives, spouses' parents, spouses or children died before 8 1, 12 and 3 1 in Taiwan Province Province may apply to enter Taiwan Province Province to transport their remains and ashes.

Second, the number of applications and matters needing attention:

(a) the number of times to apply for funeral services and transport remains and ashes is limited to 1 time, and each stay does not exceed 1 month without extension.

(2) Those who stay in Taiwan beyond the time limit or engage in activities inconsistent with the permitted purpose shall apply for a short stay in Taiwan after the expiration of the non-permitted period from the date of leaving the country. But mourning is not limited by this.

(3) When mainlanders apply to enter Taiwan Province Province, the documents presented in the mainland shall be verified by the Straits Exchange Foundation, a consortium legal person.

Three. Documents to be prepared:

(1) Please fill in the Application Form for Entry and Exit of Chinese mainland Personnel in detail, and attach the color photos taken in the last two years. (4) Relevant supporting documents:

(6) Power of Attorney: Unless the applicant personally delivers the documents from overseas, Hong Kong, Macao or the investigated person, the documents delivered by other relatives or travel agencies in Taiwan Province shall be accompanied by a power of attorney (if no relatives in Taiwan Province are delivered by friends, an instruction manual shall be attached).

(7) When the applicant is in the third region, a copy of the third region re-entry visa, third region residence permit or Hong Kong identity card should be attached.

(8) The license fee is NT$ 600 yuan (the mailer should attach a registered reply envelope, and fill in the recipient and address, which is not required by the sender).

Four. Application method:

(1) Where the applicant is overseas, he shall apply to the China embassy or consulate abroad, representative office, office or other institutions authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
