The younger generation is even consciously changing the pronunciation of Xiang dialect and moving closer to the local dialect. Especially the residents who go out to work, basically no longer retain the pronunciation habit of Wangchang dialect, which is more convenient for foreign communication. The pronunciation of Xiang dialect in Wangchang dialect will gradually disappear.
