Who immigrated to America?

Native Americans are Indians, Asians who entered the American continent from the Bering Strait thousands of years ago. Under the oppression of the westward movement of American European immigrants, the number of Indians dropped sharply from tens of millions to tens of thousands.

White Americans are descendants of immigrants from England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and the Netherlands, as well as immigrants from France, Germany, Russia, Italy and Poland.

Latino immigrants are listed separately in the United States. They are neither white nor colored in the traditional sense, and mainly speak Spanish and Portuguese.

Blacks are descendants of slaves kidnapped and sold by white Europeans from Africa.

There are also descendants of Asian immigrants in the United States, mainly Chinese, including descendants of Chinese workers in the19th century, descendants of the Kuomintang in exile, fugitives and their descendants of Indonesian Chinese when they were persecuted, overseas students after the reform and opening up, immigrants and their descendants.

At present, the population of the United States comes from all over the world, including all races and almost all nationalities in the world. It is called the "national melting pot".
