Welcome spring by Dianchi Lake.
Walking eastward along Huanhu East Road, I passed a tunnel, and a big stone with the word "Oolong" on the roadside caught my attention. It's not far from Haiyan village where I have been before. Are there any traditional villages? I changed my mind and decided to go to the village to find out.
This is the entrance to wulong village. Unfortunately, a gate stands in my way. I greeted the security guard who was playing with his mobile phone in a friendly way. He stood up lazily and told me that the village was being repaired and rebuilt and was not allowed to enter. I got into the car angrily and walked aimlessly. Suddenly, a car shadow flashed by the window. When I heard a quick beep, a cloud of dust was raised. I looked intently, and a car with the license plate of Zhang Yun A was braking to turn right. Through the rear windshield, I vaguely saw a fishing tackle on the interior panel of this car. These people must have gone fishing by Dianchi Lake. Do they have secret passages? ..... I quickly turned on the turn signal and followed the car in front.
Where is the road here? Rugged, the muck truck has been pressed for a long time, and it is already unclear whether it is a cement road or a dirt road. Then, the car in front disappeared, but I was in no hurry, holding the steering wheel, and I couldn't bear to let my car that I had been driving for ten years be scratched. While driving carefully, I scanned the villages and ancient trees on the roadside, ready to leave.
The roads and villages along the way are surrounded by barbed wire, and warning signs of "No Climbing" are hung everywhere. Many houses have been dilapidated, uninhabited for a long time and overgrown with weeds. Occasionally, several people are combing crops in the country. Are they requisitioned to move? Is it still worth entering the village? My heart suddenly became inexplicably melancholy, and I didn't know whether to move on.
Parked on the side of the road, I quickly Baidu. Wulong village, located on the east bank of Dianchi Lake, like Haiyan Village, is a relatively well-preserved and few traditional villages in the lakeside area of Dianchi Lake, with a long history and numerous remains. Wulong village was formed in the Yuan Dynasty. In the early Ming dynasty, it was a military station, an immigration station and a waterfront pier. It has a history of more than 600 years. Less than 30 kilometers away from the main city of Kunming, it was called "Wulongpu" in ancient times. On the edge of this sunken bay, Wolong Mountain sheltered wulong village from the wind blowing from the surface of Dianchi Lake. During the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, businessmen who came by boat landed here during the day, and at night, ships docked at the port began to make a fire to cook and light lanterns at the bow. At night, the lights of fishing boats and the stars and moons in the sky complement each other, so "Yupu Star Lantern" has become one of the eight scenic spots in LaoChenggong.
This village is dominated by traditional buildings with double-sided slopes and brick and wood structures, as well as a large number of traditional "one envelope" buildings in Kunming. In order to defend against wind and rain, Wulong people living by Dianchi Lake basically use the "hard top" of the roof. Wulong people also have a good aesthetic vision. Many house doors with walls are equipped with carved brick lintels and wooden door covers, expressing the simple vision of Wulongpu people.
However, at present, a large number of historical buildings in wulong village are old and damaged, and they are in an idle state, which is in urgent need of repair. Fortunately, the Chenggong district government has made plans for the rescue, restoration and reconstruction of wulong village.
I decided to move on. Driving along the bumpy forest road, the golden Sophora japonica flowers on the roadside are blooming brightly. Finally, I came to the port where the ship docked. Those fish friends' cars are parked on the side of the road, and the road ahead is the end. This should be the nearest intersection between wulong village and Dianchi Lake. The road to the village is also fenced, so you can only get off here and see what you can get.
The blue waves of Dianchi Lake rippled, and the breeze blew, blowing sparkling waves. Red-billed gulls floated leisurely across the sea, then suddenly flew into the sky and circled. From a distance, it looks like starlight scattered on the sea. Fish friends let the hook float in the water, some leaned on the ridge to chew gum and play with their mobile phones, and some simply covered their faces with sun hats and lay on the river bank waiting for the fish to bite. Is this spring? I ask myself in my mind, but I'm not sure.
My carsick wife was driven around by me, and she hurried to the river, watching Dianchi Lake meet her eyes and enjoying the feeling brought by the spring breeze. Is it moving? Is it happiness? Or touched the inner tenderness?
The weeping willows by the river haven't spit out new buds yet. Is spring coming?
There was a sound of wooden fish. When I turned around, a short mountain blocked my view. The Sophora japonica on the cliff is particularly beautiful against the blue sky. At the foot of the mountain, a temple came into view. Is this Wolong Mountain? It blocked the wind blowing from Dianchi Lake and made the villagers in Wulong live here for generations, so it is not surprising that there are temples here.
I started walking towards the temple gate, where people came in and out. I took some photos at the door. It turns out that this temple is called Oolong Chuin Temple, which was built in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. There is an old well next to the temple, and the monks in the temple still keep the habit of taking water with well ropes.
Seeing a gap in the fence in front of the temple, I went in without hesitation.
Walking through several dilapidated old houses, I was suddenly surprised to see a rape flower, which was so beautiful! This is the color of spring.
Further on, decorated houses are neatly arranged on the roadside. These houses were rebuilt exactly as they were. Earth walls, house doors, carved brick lintels, wood door covers and even windows are all carefully made by carpenters. Is this for the villagers to rebuild? I don't think so. Looking at the scattered greenery around me, I suddenly understood something. These brand-new houses are by no means for wulong village residents to live permanently. The villagers should have been compensated and moved out of here a long time ago. Villages without aborigines and a lot of fireworks are gone, so there is only one possibility for them to exist, that is, they are preserved as traditional buildings for tourists to visit.
In the distance, a sister-in-law wearing a red armband has started calling me to leave. I quickly snapped some photos, which was a confession of this spring. I left the village in a hurry.
Looking back at wulong village, a century-old house, I can't help feeling a lot.
There are always some disappointments in life that will make your mood worse. There are always some unattainable goals that will make you depressed. There are always some circles that will make you embarrassed, but life has to go on. ...
On the way back, Yang Shulin on the roadside around the lake reminded me of an ancient poem: "Huayang Jade Pod has no talent, only knows how to fly in the snow." Yes, this is a good time in spring, so why care about those disappointments? Even if you can't drink much ink, you should record the beautiful scenery of willows and grass, write an article or send a circle of friends. Just like this piece of Yang Shulin, although it is not beautiful, at least it has the interest and courage to dance with spring. This is worthy of spring.
Although I didn't photograph the peach blossom and begonia in the lens of today's tour around the lake, I was able to photograph the blooming rape flowers in wulong village and met the golden locust in the forest on Wolong Mountain, which also made me feel no regrets. It is also a great pleasure to witness the vicissitudes of old success and some historical sites with my own eyes and leave these ancient marks in my photo album.
In March, I will go to Wanxichong, Chenggong, to photograph the beautiful spring scenery of the pear garden, feel more romantic pear blossoms and clink glasses with spring.
