The Historical Origin of the Boxer Rebellion
The Boxer Regiment was formerly known as Daoguan, and its founder, Mr. Jia Shujiachang, studied in Daoguan. Today, the Boxer Rebellion is an important member of the Taoist Association. The founder of Taoist Museum is Bi Jiayouzhi (19 10- 1994). 1926 studied firsthand (the predecessor of Kobayashi) with Ichiro for seven years. After practicing alone for a year, he devoted himself to studying "Shenli Renan (a student of Miyagi Changshun)". 19 in the late 1920s, "Tang shou" was renamed as "empty-handed", and a school of thought appeared in the early 1930s. 194 1 year began to learn from Mr. Zhihua Chaoxin (the founder of Kobayashi). 1947 Established Kobayashi Daoism Museum and became the backbone of Kobayashi. Kobayashi, a Taoist school, combined some techniques of combining rigidity with flexibility and absorbed the strengths of other schools, becoming a distinctive branch of Kobayashi's family. Jia Shu Jiachang, founder of Boxing Club (1944-), 1962 entered the Rigid and Soft Boxing Club for four years, 1966 studied Kobayashi with Gu Shigen-hong, 1967 On the recommendation of Mr. Gu Shigen, Mr. Jia Shu joined the Taoist Academy for further study. 1979, Mr. Jia Shu opened the Daoist Museum's Daoist Dojo, and later founded Kobayashi Six Boxing Club in 1980. Today, the Dojo, the general command of the boxing club, is still in the upper-class community in Naha, Okinawa, and has become one of the community cultural cores of this community. 1994, Mr. Bi Jiayou passed away, and Mr. Bi Jiamen became the successor curator of Taoist Museum. Under his leadership, various factions of Taoist museums formed the Taoist Museum Association, and invited the Boxer Rebellion 1997 to join the Taoist Museum Association, with Mr. Jia Shujiachang as the vice president of the Taoist Museum Association. Since then, together with Dojo Museum and other Dojo, we have joined the Okinawa Gu Wu Dojo Alliance and become members of the Okinawa Traditional Karate Promotion Association, working together to inherit the traditional culture of Ryukyu. Development of China
Boxing Club was officially introduced to China by Mr. Guo Ming Quan Yi on 1990.
Guo Ming Quan Yi (1947-) was born in the old Dali village in Okinawa and moved from Okinawa to Sao Paulo, Brazil in about 1958. After emigrating, he followed his relatives to study Okinawa empty-handed. 1977 I met Mr. Jiashu Jiachang, who came to Brazil to participate in the alien fighting competition, and then followed Mr. Jiashu back to Naha, Okinawa to study Kobayashi and witnessed it with my own eyes. In the name of Kobayashi Liuquan Club, Mr. Ming Quanguo traveled all over the big cities of dozens of countries, such as the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy, and spread Kobayashi Liuquan. It's been almost 20 years.
Under the background of China's reform and opening-up, the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, and the overall economic and cultural development of China, Mr. Guo Ming Quan Yi dares to be the first in the world. 1988 came to China for the first time, and gave the first karate exchange performance at the then powerful Shanghai Wushu Institute.
1990, with a personal letter from the President of Brazil and a recommendation from the Japanese Consulate in Shanghai, Mr. Qiu Guo, with the help of Mr. Zhu Rongji, then the mayor of Shanghai, was contacted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai Sports Commission and established the first recognized karate training course in China at his own expense in Shanghai Sports Palace.
From 65438 to 0992, Mr. Guo Ming participated in the establishment of the Karate Association of Fudan University and opened the first karate training class in China universities. Since then, karate associations in universities have blossomed everywhere. Today, many karate associations with a long history, such as Peking University Karate Club, have the footprints of teacher Guo Ming.
Starting from 1993, Mr. Guo Ming decided to expand the promotion, and started classes in major cities all over the country to promote karate in an all-round way.
1On April 25th, 999, with the approval of the World Karate Federation, the first Karate Committee of China was established. On the recommendation of Mr. Wang, director of the Karate Committee of Shanghai Wushu Association, Mr. Wang was hired as the first consultant head coach.
In the following years, with accumulated contacts, Mr. Guo Ming invited many world fighting masters to give lectures in China, involving boxing, judo, jujitsu, fencing and so on, which greatly enriched the horizons of China practitioners.
In 2000, IKO3 cooperated with China Boxer Club, and China Boxer Club was officially named as "International Karate Union Boxer Club", inviting teachers of IKO 3 to teach and teach the skills of vacuum hand. In June165438+1October of the same year, Mr. Akio Kunichi led eight Shanghai karate players to Japan to attend the 6th International Karate Federation World Karate Players' Rights Conference held in Japan. This is the first time that China karate athletes have gone abroad to participate in large-scale international competitions.
In 2002, the cooperation between IKO3 and boxer's guild stopped. As a typical extreme vacuum hand, full contact karate began to develop on a large scale in China, which gave birth to a series of local guilds that agreed with the full contact rule, making the full contact rule the mainstream in China. At the same time, the earliest karate organization in Songtao Pavilion appeared in Chinese mainland. Since then, karate has become more diverse in China. Since then, institutions such as Kudongliu, Japanese Rigid-Flexibility Association and Okinawa Rigid-Flexibility Association have continuously settled in Chinese mainland.
After 2008, with the progress of information technology, there are more and more contacts between the China branch of the Boxer Rebellion and the Okinawa Boxer Rebellion and the Taoist Museum. The economic development has also given opportunities for Chinese and foreign Kobayashi practitioners to conduct more extensive exchanges. So far, the members of China Boxer Club have visited the major clubs in Okinawa to communicate with foreign Kobayashi and keep in touch with the world.
20 13 On February 3rd, Mr. Guo Ming left China.
2065438+May 2004, authorized by the Okinawa General Headquarters, "Okinawa Empty-handed Kobayashi Liu Quan Club China Lianhe Club" was recognized as the official branch of the Boxer Club in China.
Karate and Kobayashi
Since the development of karate, there are many schools and a hundred flowers blossom. Okinawa is the birthplace of karate, while Japan is the development place of karate. Today, there are mainly Japanese karate and traditional karate in Okinawa.
Kobayashi in Okinawa is one of the most popular schools of traditional Okinawa karate. There are hundreds of organizations such as Dojo Hall, Kobayashi Hall, Dojo Hall and Wang Xiuhui, among which Dojo Hall alone has more than one world Dojo 100. Kobayashi has attracted countless practitioners all over the world with its profound connotation, high combination of strength and beauty, high practicality and fitness.
The accumulation of history has created the uniqueness of Kobayashi. The origin of karate can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty in China.
Okinawa today was called Ryukyu in ancient times. In AD 1372, Zhu Yuanzhang sent Dai Yang to Ryukyu, making it a vassal of the Ming Dynasty. Subsequently, the rulers of the Ming Dynasty promulgated many preferential policies, one of which was to give "Fujian people thirty-six surnames", that is, to send thirty-six Fujian families (now Fujian people) to move to Kumi village in Ryukyu, which was called "Kumi thirty-six surnames" in history. At the same time, they brought advanced technology and culture to Ryukyu, and also imported China Wushu at that time, which became the main bridge between China and Ryukyu in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
At the end of 16, China's diplomatic envoys in Ryukyu began to be equipped with military attaché s, and the martial arts exchanges between China and Ryukyu gradually rose to the official level. Among them, Gong, a martial arts school in China described in Oshima's Notes, impressed the Ryukyu martial arts community with his superb martial arts, and two sets of moves named after Gong were preserved in Kobayashi.
In the long-term martial arts exchange, China Boxing gradually merged with Ryukyu Boxing. During Jiaqing and Daoguang years in Qing Dynasty, Okinawa Boxing gradually developed from the initial "combination" to "Tang Hand", literally meaning "China Boxing", which shows China's far-reaching influence.
At the end of 19, Japan annexed Ryukyu Kingdom, and Tang hand was introduced to Japan in the early 20th century. In the late 1920 s and early 1930 s, the Tang Dynasty changed its name to karate, and schools began to appear. Japanese karate and Okinawa karate were gradually different. Shorin-ryu in Okinawa appeared in this period.
Inheritance of Kobayashi Stream
Kobayashi's inheritance is quite clear. The early Ryukyu boxing was divided into three systems: the first player, the Naha player and the berthing player. In the later period, the three systems merged and evolved, and schools appeared. Kobayashi Stream originated from the first hand, with Sasakawa Hiroyuki as the representative. When it spread to the boxing halls of Dojo venues, the three systems had been integrated. The direct relationship between teachers and students is more clear. From the beginning of the Tang Dynasty to the emergence of schools, the main contributors are the following four founders: the first-hand representative, Zuo Jiuchuan (Zuo Jiuchuan, 1782- 1837), once studied martial arts with Chinese Mao in Jiumi Village, and then went to China to learn and exchange boxing with tribute delegations many times. A student of Sasakawa He Kuan named Wu Chengda (in Chinese, 1809- 1899) also went to study in the Qing Dynasty with his master many times, and later became the escort of three generations of Ryukyu kings, so he was called "Matsumura samurai". A student of Matsumura Bangbang School and Kazuo Anheng (1830- 19 15) summed up and improved the system of first-hand players, making it more systematic, and led the empty-handed campus movement, becoming an important figure in promoting Okinawa's empty-handed. Yizhou Anheng's student Zhihua Chaoxin (1885- 1969) inherited the mantle of the teacher, and named this martial arts system "Kobayashi Flow" around 1930, and Kobayashi Flow Karate was born. After World War II, Mr. Zhihua continued to open Dojo and organize cross-school karate exchanges, which made unprecedented contributions to the development of karate. Characteristics of Xiaolin stream
Kobayashi has formed many factions since its development, and there are some differences among the guilds, but there are three characteristics in general:
First, the natural way of breathing.
Kobayashi did not emphasize the mystery and profundity of breathing, but paid attention to the coordination of breathing and movement. Under the premise of conforming to the law of body movement, let the body breathe naturally and adjust naturally, so as to achieve the effect of conforming to nature and step by step.
Second, natural posture and movements.
Different from many traditional martial arts, Kobayashi's standing posture and deliberate deep standing posture are somewhat similar to some southern styles of boxing in China. At the same time, Kobayashi does not advocate fighting with big strides and low center of gravity. Therefore, when practicing at ordinary times, we encourage practitioners to use natural standing posture as far as possible while ensuring the stability of the center of gravity and conforming to the boxing theory. Natural standing posture also helps to use crotch strength, not just waist strength. Teacher Zhihua Chaoxin also thinks that the natural standing posture is more flexible and easier to move and change.
Third, the pursuit of speed and change.
According to Mr. Zhinian Xianyou, president of Kobayashi's Wang Xiuhui, Kobayashi is a karate school that emphasizes speed and change. Speed is to reach the limit of limb speed on the basis of physical relaxation and proper physical strength.
