Where is Ceylon?
Northwest Ceylon faces India across the Pakistan Strait. Ceylon pursues an independent and non-aligned foreign policy, supports the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, opposes all forms of imperialism, colonialism, racism and hegemonism of great powers, safeguards Sri Lanka's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and does not allow foreign interference in Sri Lanka's internal and external affairs.
Ceylon is concerned about international and regional security and advocates general and complete disarmament, including global nuclear disarmament and the establishment of a new international political and economic order.
