International law in the immigration crisis

According to international law and practice, whether foreigners are allowed to enter the country is a sovereign act of a country.

Even if you have a valid visa and passport, the immigration department of the country of entry has the right to refuse entry and carry out repatriation if it thinks that you do not meet the entry conditions (such as criminal record, lack of economic ability, etc.). ) or suspect that your entry purpose does not match the visa type.

Malaysia stipulates that foreigners must hold a visa type that matches the purpose of entry, must carry at least RM 2000 or USD 500 with them, and must prepare printed paper round-trip air tickets in advance. Immigration officials at Ma Airport will conduct random inspections.

If you are blocked from entering the airport, please truthfully explain the situation to the immigration officer, and provide relevant supporting materials as far as possible for the other party to let you go. If the communication fails, the airport immigration officer will invite you to the airport immigration office for further investigation. If the investigation still fails, you will be sent directly to the restricted area for repatriation.

If the type of visa you apply for does not match your purpose of coming to Malaysia, I suggest you buy a return ticket for the next flight and return to China immediately to avoid being sent to the restricted area for repatriation.

Passports must be valid for more than half a year and need to be carried with you after entering the country. Passport should be copied and kept separately from the passport copy in case of emergency.

According to the current practice, once immigration officials make a decision to refuse to enter Malaysia, they will immediately confiscate the mobile phones and other communication tools of the relevant personnel and send them to the restricted activity area for repatriation. If you are treated unfairly while waiting for repatriation at the airport, please write down your name or number on the badge of the law enforcement officer, remember the exact time of the incident, and collect and save relevant evidence.
