There are two options: First, if you are using the DS- 156 form for the first time, click Start New Application.

After filling in the information on this page, it is strongly recommended to save it, as shown above, and click "Save". (Fill in the DS 160 form and save it while writing. )

Click' Save Application to File' to save it locally, and a. dat file will be generated, which can be saved to your computer, and then you can choose to upload an existing form when you continue to fill it out in the future.

Note 6: If you want to leave the computer for more than 20 minutes, you must save it locally. Otherwise, you will lose the information you filled in before.
