The Origin of Sanguanlong in Gongshu District, Hangzhou

Temple reconstruction. According to the official account of Hangzhou Gongshu WeChat, a temple was built in the gate of Pingjiangfu (Suzhou) in the Song Dynasty, which was used by grain transportation to worship the dragon god, and then gradually abandoned. In the early Ming Dynasty, Suzhou built ten temples along the Hecheng River, collectively known as the "Ten Temples". This temple is not a place where monks and Taoists fast, but a place where Wei Guan worships the river god, which is close to the function of sacrificing the dragon god in the Song Dynasty. Some of these temples were later converted into Buddhist temples, some became folk ancestral temples, and some were abandoned. The "Three Temples", one of the original "Ten Temples" in Long Ben, was converted into the Temple of Three Views for the worship of the gods of Three Views.
