EB- 1(a) There is no need to apply for a work permit and there is no commitment to permanent work.

Outstanding business talents, outstanding scientific and technological talents, outstanding artistic talents, outstanding educational talents and outstanding sports talents.

(1) Excellent scientific and technological talents: scientists, academicians, inventors, senior engineers, senior programmers, computer experts, doctors, medical scientists, associate professors in various disciplines, postdocs and doctors in scientific research institutions and companies at all levels;

(2) Excellent artists: painters, calligraphers, dancers, musicians, music directors, singers, movie stars, supermodels, TV hosts, film and television directors, animation designers, etc. Special-grade teachers at all levels, educational theorists, etc. ;

(3) Excellent industrial and commercial talents: excellent entrepreneurs, traders, management experts, financial experts, advertising planning experts, marketing experts, management consulting experts, economists, etc. ;

The research work during the doctoral period can be counted as the work experience in EB- 1(b). The requirements of EB- 1(b) are lower than EB- 1(a). Although EB- 1(b) does not need to apply for a work permit, the applicant must have a permanent work commitment and an American employer is required to apply for the applicant. Postdoctoral research is not a commitment to permanent work.

(1) Personal requirements: at least three years relevant teaching or research experience. Similarly, EB- 1(c) does not need to apply for a work permit, but it needs a permanent job commitment, and an American employer must come forward to apply for the applicant.
