In order to further facilitate visas for tourists visiting Thailand, the Immigration Department of Thailand recently launched an online service to fill in visa forms on arrival. China tourists can visit the official website of the Immigration Bureau of Thailand before going to Thailand. (www.immigration.go.th) Submit materials to apply for landing visa. Visitors only need to print out this online form after filling it out, together with the relevant basic documents of the visa on arrival, and go through the formalities at the visa on arrival counters at various international airports in Thailand.

Online application process

Log on to the website www.immigration.go.th (Chinese version), which is a special page for the Immigration Bureau to apply online in landing visa. Go to the left side of the website and click "Apply for visa on arrival online" to apply online.

After applying for a visa on arrival online, you will get a visa code (TRN). When you enter Thailand, print out the obtained visa code and carry it with you. When you enter Thailand, show it to the immigration officer in exchange for the visa on arrival stamped on your passport.

What is required for a visa on arrival.

Original valid passport (valid for at least 30 days).

The duration of travel in Thailand shall not exceed 15 days.

There is a return ticket to Thailand for no more than 15 days.

Provide the real address of Thailand.

Individuals must bring foreign currency of not less than 1 10,000 baht when entering the country, and not less than 20,000 baht for families.

Visa fee is only Thai baht (cash)/non-refundable.

Matters needing attention when leaving the country

Recently, someone was sent back to Thailand after taking photos and videos at the customs while queuing for visas on arrival at Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, and was refused entry!

Reminder: tourists traveling in other countries must not take photos and videos at the customs! Observe local customs regulations!

Traveling to Thailand, many people were repatriated by the Thai Immigration Bureau because of insufficient travel expenses!

Reminder: When entering Thailand, customs officers often check their cash. It is best to make preparations in advance before leaving the country and bring enough cash for inspection.

Landing visa needs cash 10000 baht (about 2000 RMB) or equivalent foreign currency (carry with you) (random inspection).

Thailand's six-month multiple visa

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand announced that it would issue multiple visas to overseas tourists for half a year from1October 3 1 13.

Single round-trip tourist visa: the visa fee is 230 yuan RMB, valid for 3 months, and the single stay time does not exceed 60 days/time.

Multiple round-trip tourist visa: visa fee 1200 RMB, valid for 6 months, and the single stay in Thailand shall not exceed 60 days/time.

In addition, if you go directly to the embassy or consulate to submit the materials, you need to prepare the following materials: passport, photo, bank deposit certificate of 50 thousand yuan frozen for 6 months, employment certificate, round-trip air ticket order, hotel order.

Applicants can also consult the nearest travel agency or visa agency to apply for a Thai tourist visa, and the agencies with different visa materials will be simplified accordingly. At the same time, Thailand's tourist visa landing visa is still valid.

Note: At present, Chiang Mai Airport is temporarily unable to apply for visa on arrival (other ports are better to confirm in advance before applying).
