Where is Wugang city?

Wugang City is located in the southwest of Hunan Province, at the foot of Xuefeng Mountain, at the northern edge of Nanling Mountain and at the upper reaches of Zishui River. The terrain is surrounded by mountains in the east, west and south, with a low middle and a slope from south to north. It belongs to subtropical monsoon humid climate with mild climate.

Wugang scenic spots and historical sites include Yunshan Forest Park, Fafayan, Wugang City Wall, Dacheng Hall of Confucian Temple, Houguo Site of Douliang, Lingyun Pagoda, Hualong Temple and Four Seasons Rock. Memorial sites include the former site of the Second Branch of the Central Army Military Academy, Feng Xuan Tower, Martyrs Cemetery and Revolutionary History Memorial Hall.

Wugang is located at the southern foot of Xuefeng Mountain and the northern edge of Nanling Mountain, which belongs to the transition zone from hilly area in southern Hunan to Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau uplift.
