Personally, I prefer high salary to Beijing hukou.

For some people, Beijing hukou may mean that you have a capital hukou book, which means that your next generation may face less competition in the college entrance examination, which means that you enjoy the same benefits as Beijing aborigines! But think about it, what else can Beijing hukou bring you besides these? The housing price in Beijing is so high. If you give up high-paying jobs for a Beijing hukou, when can you afford to buy a house? How to ensure the quality of life by working at a lower salary? I feel that compared with a Beijing hukou, a good quality of life is what people should pursue.

Is this the life you should have lived when you were young? Personally, I feel that if I give up a well-paid job just for Beijing hukou, I will regret it in the end.

And I think the salary is high, and the Beijing hukou can be solved. After all, with a high salary, all problems have been solved. How happy are you? You can afford a local house in Beijing through savings, and then you can get a Beijing hukou through some points. Or you can get a high salary and a Beijing hukou through some talent introduction projects in Beijing, so I think there is no contradiction between a high salary and a Beijing hukou. Furthermore, when you have a high salary, you will yearn for a higher level of life. At that time, you were rich, and Beijing hukou was nothing to you. Besides Beijing hukou, you can leave more things to future generations, such as a better quality of life and better educational resources.

Nowadays, many people turn their attention to emigrating abroad instead of obtaining a Beijing hukou. If the salary is high, you can choose immigration and skip the step of Beijing hukou directly. So I don't think Beijing hukou is necessary. I prefer Beijing hukou to high salary.
