Studying abroad: introduction of entry, flight and exit.

I hope it will help parents and international students, especially for the first time. Welcome to add and modify. I wish you all a pleasant journey!

Entry, flight and exit matters:

1. Take your passport and ticket. Take a small satchel, a pen, a watch, one or two small plastic bags (not suitable for airplane vomiting), an empty cup with a cover (there is boiling water in the Beijing terminal, but you can't enter the terminal until you pass the security check, and you can't bring liquids, including toothpaste and skin care products, if you bring paste or liquid items, you must check them in), a pair of reading glasses, a headrest (for sleeping and resting on the plane) and several glasses.

When you enter the airport, please check your luggage at the reception desk and show your ticket. The service staff will change the air ticket into a boarding pass.

Please fill in the entry and exit registration card at the counter before entering the customs from Beijing. And then handed it over to the staff. Before entering the terminal, you will be asked to undergo security check. Generally, take off shoes, coats, watches, mobile phones, keys, coins and other metal items. If you wear a belt, you should also take it off and put your carry-on bag in the box on the conveyor belt. People enter through the security gate (you can see what the passengers in front do), and then take their belongings and wait at the designated check-in gate. I don't know at which boarding gate I can show my boarding pass. Ask the staff. )

Please take your passport and registration card when boarding. Business class and first class boarding first. Most of the passengers are economy class, so they can't board the plane until later, so there's no hurry when waiting in line.

After approaching the plane, take the boarding pass and ask the stewardess where the seat is and how to get there. Confirm the seat number when you arrive at your seat. The seat number is above your head.

6. Fasten your seat belt after you sit down. You can ask the stewardess or other passengers how to fasten, untie and adjust the tightness. Don't adjust it too tightly. The seat belt on the plane is similar to that on the car. It is best to open your mouth when taking off and landing to balance the air pressure and reduce discomfort such as tinnitus.

7. The toilet in economy class is at the back of the plane, with your back to you. The toilet on the plane is shared by men and women. You can go in when you see no one, and someone can line up at the door. There are two kinds of toilets on the plane: there are handles to go in directly; There is no handle, just push it in the middle and it will open. Generally, after locking the door, the light inside will light up. Don't bring your own toilet paper and toilet paper. The flush toilet has a button, and you can only discharge the water by pressing it. Faucets are generally the same.

8. At dinner time (three times in the morning, three times in the middle, three times in the evening, six or seven in the morning, around noon 12), the stewardess will deliver meals, usually paper towels and drinks first. Old people can order white water or orange juice. Drink more water on the plane. Generally, stewardesses send water every once in a while. If it's not time to deliver water, you can always ask the stewardess to deliver a glass of water or orange juice without ice when you are thirsty.

9. When eating, put down the table in front of you and put drinks and food. When the stewardess delivers the food, she will ask her what kind of rice she wants, usually beef rice or chicken rice, depending on her taste. There will be a light overhead to control the switch. There will be a small fan overhead, which is not commonly used in China. After eating, set the table, turn off the lights and have a rest at any time. How to use the dining table, how to turn the lights on and off, you can ask the stewardess or other passengers, or you can refer to other people's practices.

10, there will be a blanket on the seat of the plane, which will be covered when resting. If you think a blanket is not enough and a little cold, you can ask the stewardess to add a blanket. There are also headphones on the plane, which are used to watch TV and listen to music. You can adjust the volume and choose the channel yourself. The volume and channel adjustment buttons are on the side of the seat.

1 1. The seat of this plane can be adjusted back and forth. When you need to rest after the flight is stable, adjust the seat backwards, put the button on the armrest, hold your hand and lean back. When you hold it down again, the seat will automatically return to its original position. This adjustment is the same as the seat in a car. You can usually train in the car. When you don't know how to adjust, ask the stewardess or other passengers for help.

12, after the plane flies smoothly, you can stand up and walk around the back of the plane, usually for an hour or two.

13, flight attendants will issue I-94 forms and customs declarations during the flight. Fill it out and put it in your passport. When you get off the plane and leave the customs, give it to the immigration officer. If it is wrong, you can ask the stewardess to give a new one and throw away the old one. These two forms should be filled out in English or Pinyin. You can take the samples filled in at home to other passengers or flight attendants and ask them to help copy them. You have to sign the customs declaration form yourself, just in Chinese.

14. After disembarking, queue up with the crowded domestic team, go to the designated window, and hand in the I-94 form, customs declaration form, passport, letter to immigration officer, daughter's birth notarization, and round-trip air ticket (the last two options are optional). The immigration officer will ask you to press your fingerprints, first with your left index finger, and then with your right index finger (similar to the situation when you apply for a visa, so is the fingerprint collector, and the fingerprint collection order may be right index finger first, then left index finger). Then take pictures. As long as you face the counter, the immigration officer will automatically collect photos without special preparation. If the immigration officer asks other questions, he doesn't know English, so don't answer them. Then the immigration officer will stamp the passport and return the passport, the attached page of 1-94, the birth certificate and the round-trip air ticket (the customs declaration form is generally not refundable. If it is returned, put it away and hand it over to the customs inspector after picking up the luggage. )。 Check it and put it in your carry-on bag.

15, and then go to the baggage claim area. Different flights will have different baggage claim locations. You can ask where to pick up the baggage for this flight with your ticket, and some have to walk a long way. Different flights are in different baggage claim areas, and some flights may also have two baggage claim areas, which are generally adjacent. At the baggage claim area, the baggage may not have arrived yet, and the delivered baggage is on the conveyor belt. When you see your luggage, you can ask other passengers to help you carry it down. Then he went out of the customs with his luggage. If the customs officers cross-examine, they should hand in their passports, air tickets and other materials. If customs officials ask to check their luggage, they should open it. After no problem, you can leave the airport smoothly.

16. If you don't know where the airport exit is, you can ask other passengers or service personnel.

17, the ladies' toilets in the airport lobby are generally marked with girls in skirts. If you don't know, you can look at others or ask.

18. If you are thirsty at the airport and can't find a water dispenser, you can buy a bottle of mineral water, usually about $4 a bottle.

19. You need help calling at the airport.
