1. Soil preparation and fertilization: Planting lawn requires high soil conditions. Before planting lawn, soil preparation should be carried out to ensure that the soil can meet the growth requirements. When preparing soil, we should apply sufficient fertilizer, such as decomposed organic fertilizer, and fully mix the fertilizer into the soil to ensure the required nutrients. Lawn has strict requirements on soil moisture, so it is necessary to establish a good irrigation and drainage system and do a good job in drainage ditches.

2. Determine varieties: select varieties according to local environmental conditions. If planted in cold and humid areas in the north, you can choose cool-season grasses, such as Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue and ryegrass. If planted in the south, you can choose weeds, Bermuda grass, blunt leaf grass, Zoysia japonica, Pteris vittata and so on.

3. Seed treatment: after the variety is determined, buy good quality seeds in advance and treat them before sowing. For seed dressing or seed coating agent, 0.2% antiviral alum or methyl likulin can be used for seed dressing.

4. Proper sowing: Generally, sowing is carried out in spring and autumn. Sow grass seeds evenly on the soil surface, mix the soil with a soil mixer to a depth of about 0.5 cm, and then compact it with a compactor. After sowing, irrigation must be carried out, sprinkler irrigation can be carried out, and sufficient water must be poured thoroughly.

5. Emergence management: after the grass seeds emerge, the later management is carried out. Topdressing management should be carried out in the growing season, and topdressing should be carried out three or four times in the whole growing season. Try not to topdressing nitrogen fertilizer, irrigate reasonably, and spray irrigation in time according to seedling conditions and soil moisture.
