My Japanese residence card will be renewed. I don't intend to enter the country. Can my husband take it to the Japanese immigration office? thank you

As long as the time limit on the card has not expired, and you have gone through the re-entry procedures when you leave Japan (or checked the item "deemed re-entry country" when filling out the form at the airport) ~ you can enter the country ~ ~

As for the hotel, it would be nice to have a passport. What does it have to do with resident registration?
