As early as thousands of years ago, Qianxi County was still the channel of Luanhe River. Later, the Luanhe River was diverted, and this land became a wetland with lush water plants. Then a little above the water, it became a beach. In the early Ming Dynasty, the imperial court immigrated here in large numbers from the south, and there were fixed villages here in the county. 1950, the county government began to harness the Luanhe River in the north of the county, and built a 1320-meter-long revetment dam, called "Beihe Dam", which played a certain role in the protection of the county. Later, the Beiheba Forest Farm with an area of 1 170 mu was built here, which effectively protected the safety of the revetment dam and the county.

Every summer night, the room is dull and the city is noisy. This is the only place where the cool breeze blows gently and the water mist is dense. It is refreshing to walk on the shore. There is a path in the middle of the dam, and riding a bike is really comfortable. If you stand on this high dam and look around, you can see a panoramic view. Trees on both sides of the dam are also good places to hide, where you can meditate and daydream at will.

Beiheba is also a good place for young people to love each other. In summer, the number of people in Beiheba is increasing again. Pavilions and pavilions are lush, green and lush, and look like a great green wall from a distance, extending to the dam. Young couples come here hand in hand, sit in the dense forest under the green trees, enjoy the cool and listen to love stories, which will have a unique charm. Single men and women meet at night to blow their hair at Heba, hoping to find the other half, such as companionship and chance meeting. Walking near the Muyue Bridge in Beiheba, you will always see tall people looking for little girls and small people looking for tall people. Every year, the Daheiting Reservoir opens floodgates and the clear Luanhe River flows through it, making it a paradise for fish, so it has become a hot fishing spot all year round. In spring, the ice of the North River Dam has not completely melted, and the water on the east side of the dam, that is, the wooden bridge, has not yet blossomed. Some people are fishing on the ice there. Most of the poles are 4.5 meters long, and the bait is spaghetti and red worms (upper and lower hooks), and many are caught.

The most striking purpose of the dam is the chestnut pavilion extending along the north and south of the dam, showing people different beautiful postures throughout the year. In spring, the pinnate compound leaves slowly spread out, and the leaves are soft and furry, like a newborn fat doll, which makes people love. Late autumn, crimson, as passionate as a flame, is better than the red leaves of Xiangshan, and the blue sky and white clouds are comparable to Daming Lake in Jinan. Although it lacks some historical details, it is the elegance of the new era.

In recent years, many new facilities have been built, which are really beautiful and children have a place to play, much better than before. It is reported that the county will invest 5 billion yuan to start the development project of tourist gathering area in Luanhe River basin, hoping that the Beihe Dam will become more beautiful.
