What's the use of pte exam?

The full name of pte test is Pearson Test of English Academic, which is also translated into Peter Academic English Test.

Like IELTS and TOEFL, pte is a language test for people from non-English speaking countries to study/work in English speaking countries. Therefore, the main function of pte examination is to apply for studying abroad and applying for immigration.

Application for studying abroad

All universities in Australia and New Zealand recognize the achievements of pte, and more than 3,000 colleges and universities in more than 30 mainstream countries, such as Britain, the United States and Canada, recognize the English proficiency test PTE for undergraduate and above study visa applications.

Immigration application

Now many people who plan to immigrate to Australia go to pte. Pte only needs to get four 65s to give Australian immigrants ten points. If you take IELTS, you will get four 7s. But PTE four 65 is easier to achieve than IELTS four 7.

Compared with IELTS, the short-term training of pte can achieve good results. Now more and more people will choose pte when studying abroad. I died when I was writing in IELTS. I immediately said that after pte system training, both speaking and writing exceeded 65, equivalent to IELTS 7.0.
