On the Origin of Quan Family in Yongzhou City, Hunan Province

According to the genealogy of Yongzhou Quanshi, which was revised from June, 5438 to October, 2009, the surname Quanshi originated from Shun, whose original ancestor was an official in charge of currency exchange and market trade in the Western Zhou Dynasty, so later generations took the official name Quanshi as their surname. Later, because "Quan" and "Quan" are homophones, and the latter has a deeper meaning than the former, they took "Quan" as their surname. From the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Qin Dynasty, the whole family was very prosperous, from Jingzhao County in Xi 'an to Huaxian County in Shaanxi Province, with a prosperous population and a prominent reputation.

In the early years of the Western Han Dynasty, the whole clan was involved in regime change and had to emigrate. One of them came to Qiantang (now Hangzhou) in Wuxian County and settled down. By the time of Emperor Ling of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Shang was named Quanruan. When he arrived in the Three Kingdoms, Quan Cong entered Qiantang, and another daughter of Quan Shang married Sun Liang, the monarch of the State of Wu, and was made queen. Her father and relatives rose to the top, and five people were appointed as princes and soldiers and horses. After Sun Liang was abolished, his family was ruined and many people fell to the ground, and the rest were forced to migrate to Jiangxi.

At the end of Yuan Dynasty, Hunan suffered from Chen Youliang's repeated wars and Zhu Yuanzhang's bloody slaughter of Hunan. The local aborigines declined sharply, and the land was vast and sparsely populated. In the Ming Dynasty 1385, the imperial court issued an immigration order and made a great migration.

After investigation, there is no full surname among the aborigines in Yongzhou. At present, the whole stone in Shuangpai County came from Egongjing (also known as Egongtang, now there is no Egongjing on the map of Jiangxi Province) in Taihe County, Ji 'an District, Jiangxi Province to Xingren Township, Lingling County, Yongzhou District (now Majiang Town and Chalin Town, Shuangpai County) during the great migration in the 18th year of Hongwu (1385).

Keijiro, who passed down to the fifth generation, gave birth to three sons: the eldest son, Rong Yilang, named Yongcong, settled in Majiang Village, Majiang Town; Eijiro, the second son, and Rongsaburo, the third son, moved to other places, and they still don't know where they are. Yongxiang, the sixth grandchild of Yun Qi Lang, settled in Quanjiazhou Village, Wulipai Town. The descendants of Yonglong, who have settled in Wujiawan Village, Chalin Town, have a rich life, but their territory is narrow. Some have moved to Fangzhushan and Qiaotou Village in Wan Lishi, ningyuan county, some moved to Zhumukan, Zaohetian, Zhoushankou, Wu Jia and Zicheng in Majiang Town, and some moved to Zhushantang in Chalin Town. In addition to settling in Quanjiazhou Village, Wulipai Town, some descendants of Yongxiang moved to Chishihui Village, Dangdi Township, Lingling District. Today, there are about 4000 clan members in Shuangpai County.

1. class generation

The generation arrangement of the whole clan began in the Tang Dynasty. The Shuangpai clan with full surname revised its genealogy more than 400 years ago after the ancestor Yun Qi Lang migrated from Egongjing, Jiangxi. All virtues put filial piety first, which is believed to increase wealth.

(4) Twelve Family Instructions

First, disobedience, second, obscenity, third, litigation, drug abuse under temptation, fifth, gambling, sixth, thief, seventh, prostitute, eighth, female drowning, ninth, intimacy, tenth, inner fear, eleventh, fighting and twelfth, cult.

(5) Family motto

Get up at dawn, sweep the courtyard, and be neat inside and outside. If you are unconscious, you have a rest. If you close the door, you will behave well. A porridge and a meal, when thinking hard; It is difficult to keep thinking about material resources. Better to prepare for a rainy day than to dig a well when you are thirsty. Self-help must be frugal and banquets must not be wasted. The utensils are clean and tidy, and the tile is better than gold; The more refined the diet, the more delicious the round vegetables are. Don't run fancy houses, don't seek fertile land. Three aunts and six wives are the media of prostitution and theft; Beauty and charm are not the blessings of the boudoir. The nanny should not be handsome, and the wife should not wear heavy makeup. Although the ancestors are far away, the sacrifice must be sincere; Although children and grandchildren are stupid, they must read classics. The life cycle is simple, and the godson should have the obligation. Don't be greedy for windfall, don't drink too much, and don't take advantage of trade. When you see poor relatives and neighbors, you must warm your shirt. Mean marriage will not last long; Lun Chang is a good boy and will die soon. (7) Family meeting

In order to improve the overall quality of future generations, enhance national cohesion, promote harmonious development, step into a well-off society as soon as possible, and prosper the whole family and future generations, this Convention is formulated, and I hope all ethnic groups will consciously abide by it.
