The difference between CAS and VisaLetter is actually not much different from the previous Visaletter. CAS itself is the electronic version of Visaletter. All paper information is input into the system and queried according to CAS. It overcomes some defects of VisaLetter before, which can be described as a brand-new upgrade of VisaLetter.

The difference between CAS and British university Offer is the willingness of the school to accept students' applications. After the students submit the application materials to the school, according to the examination and approval of the school, those who meet the admission qualifications can get the school Offer.

CAS is a confirmation letter sent by the university to students after they accept the Offer from a British university and pay the first training fee advance to the school and embed it in their bachelor's degree.

International students need to meet two conditions before they can get CAS: when the training fee is delivered, the Offer of British universities is still reasonable (it is generally required to be confirmed within 4-6 weeks); When the training fee arrives, the applied technology major also has a place (British universities choose the principle of confirming first, obtaining first, and it doesn't matter when the application is processed, but when it is confirmed).

Just because a student has obtained an Offer from a British university does not mean that he has been hired by the school. After paying the training fee and getting CAS, the admission can be confirmed. The school has the right and possibility to give the bachelor's degree to other students before they get the Offer, but CAS doesn't.

At present, most students have basically obtained a ConditionalOffer, and the raw materials that meet the conditions (standards) are the raw materials for obtaining CAS. For example, if your condition is a second-class bachelor's degree and IELTS score of 7, then the bachelor's degree certificate and report obtained at the graduation party, IELTS score of 7 is the raw material that you must submit to the school to get CAS. Therefore, you need to wait for the final bachelor's degree and transcript to apply for CAS.

CASCAS is a list of information that has confirmed that a British school has accepted the student and is willing to be the host of the student visa, and confirms all relevant information of the student to the Immigration Bureau.

CAS contains the applicant's personal information, study background and electronic equipment number information of British universities. Each CAS has a unique number. After the immigration officer enters the account number, all the information of the student will be displayed in the system. Schools can send them to students by email, word documents, pdf and even photos. Students need to pay attention to the email application immediately. In essence, CAS replaces the original paper visa application letter, and students only need to provide a CAS number to complete the British student visa.

What problems should be paid attention to about CAS? After students get the CAS, please check whether all the information in the CAS is appropriate, such as visa type or nationality, date of birth, surname, etc. If the information is wrong, it must be raised with the school, so that the school can re-produce the new CAS.
