At school, Wang Yizhi showed his love and passion for news and hosting work. As an intern host, in 2006, he planned and hosted the weekly broadcast of China Radio International (CRI) music program Easy Hip-hop, and participated in CCTV-4 and CNN interviews, news clue collection and translation as an intern.
In 2008, as a bilingual announcer of Beijing Olympic Games, he broadcasted all the basketball events of Beijing Olympic Games and presided over the awarding ceremony of basketball games. As the first female announcer of the NBA China, she broadcast the 2008 September, 10 NBA China live in both Chinese and English.
20 10 June, after graduating from the journalism department of the University of Hong Kong with a master's degree, he joined Hong Kong i-Cable News, responsible for planning, interviewing, writing and producing 30-minute current affairs special programs every week.

The large-scale projects involved in the report include: the launch of Shenzhou-8 and Shenzhou-9 spacecraft, the 0/5th anniversary of Hong Kong's return/KLOC-,the South-to-North Water Diversion Immigration Documentary, the launch of Shenzhou-10, and the Tibet Snow Festival.
