What are the qualifications for applying for skilled immigrants in New Zealand?

Generally speaking, applicants' academic qualifications (including degrees and majors) need to be certified by NZQA-New Zealand Quality Authority, a qualification certification institution designated by the New Zealand government, before they can be recognized by the New Zealand Immigration Bureau. However, the New Zealand Immigration Bureau also directly recognizes the qualifications of many universities. In other words, the applicant's relevant academic qualifications do not need to be certified.
