Alberto Fujimori (ァルベルト? ケンヤ? フジモリ,1July 28th, 938 —— Kenya Fujimori,1Ylimaa, a Japanese politician born in Peru from July 28th, 990 to June 28th, 2000. Fujimori is the second Asian to serve as the Latin American head of state since the first Chinese-American President Raymond Arthur Chung appeared in Guyana from March 1970 to June 1980. During his tenure, his achievements mainly included stabilizing the turbulent Peruvian economy and quelling civil strife under the leadership of former Peruvian President Alain Garcia. However, his leadership has also been criticized as too autocratic, which has been disputed by many people. Alberto Fujimori was accused of being involved in many political corruption scandals in his later term. After his scandal was exposed, he fled to Japan in 2000 and submitted his resignation letter only by fax. The Peruvian government asked the Japanese government to extradite Fujimori to Peru for trial. The Japanese government refused the extradition request on the grounds that he had Japanese nationality. On June 7, 2005, Fujimori was arrested in Chile, and the Peruvian government requested the Chilean government to extradite Fujimori on June 3, 2005. On September 2 1 2007, the Supreme Court of Chile made a final judgment and granted the Peruvian government's request to extradite Fujimori.
