First, Canada's pre-trip preparation

1. After applying for accommodation and getting a visa, you should apply for a host family or school dormitory as soon as possible. Due to the different application time requirements of each school, please know the specific information when submitting the school application.

2. Open an account with a Canadian bank

With your ID card, admission notice and original passport/visa, you can apply for a personal bank account in the Shanghai Representative Office of Imperial Commercial Bank of Canada, and you can get a Canadian personal account in about 3 working days.

3. Bank remittance

With the original RMB, ID card, passport/visa and admission notice, you can go to the local China bank to go through the remittance procedures. According to the current regulations of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, foreign exchange can be purchased at a maximum of $20,000. Please ask the Bank of China for details.

Second, set out for Canada

1. To prepare the air ticket for studying abroad, you need to arrive at the airport three hours in advance to take the flight and take the international flight. Please arrive as soon as possible because of the complicated procedures.

2. Entry and exit

Please bring the original passport/visa, customs clearance letter and school admission notice. You can carry up to $5,000 in foreign exchange, but for safety reasons, it is recommended that you do not carry more than $500 in foreign exchange.

3. Luggage requirements

Each person can check two 32-inch suitcases, the sum of length, width and height shall not exceed 158 cm, and the weight of each piece shall not exceed 32 kg. Third, after arriving.

1. After getting off the plane in Vancouver at the first stop, you should get your luggage back first, and then go through the immigration formalities in the arrival hall.

In the arrival hall, there will be a Chinese interpreter to help you with the entry formalities. You need to show your passport/visa, admission notice and customs entry documents to the immigration officer. Immigration officials will issue you a study permit in Canada.
