How to keep maple leaf card when immigrating to Canada
New immigrants from Canada can get a Zhang Yongjiu resident card (hereinafter referred to as Maple Leaf Card) to prove their legal permanent resident status in Canada.
The maple leaf card is valid for five years, and the cardholder can return to Canada within the validity period of the maple leaf card. But don't think that permanent residents can unconditionally and permanently retain their immigration status. If not handled seriously, you may lose your permanent resident status.
Canadian immigration law stipulates that every Canadian permanent resident must meet the requirement of living in Canada for at least two years in any five years. There is no requirement for the place of residence, and the time can be continuous or discontinuous, as long as it is accumulated for 730 days.
