Monaco, a small immigrant country

On the coastline of southern France, about ten kilometers northeast of Nice, there is a country with an area of only 1.95 square kilometers. Her name is Monaco. The full name of Monaco is "Monaco Pro-Kingdom", which is the second smallest country in the world after the Vatican.

People often confuse Monaco with Morocco. Monaco is a small country in the south of France near the Mediterranean Sea. Morocco is located in North Africa (just below Spain), and its area is several hundred times larger than Monaco. Monaco has no airport. You can only go to Monaco by bus or train.

Monaco is famous for its casinos, opera houses and Formula 1 racing cars. When I arrived in Monaco early in the morning, the casino was not open yet, and it was not the season of F 1, so I had to go to monaco-ville to overlook the scenery of Monaco. In Monaco, the most convenient means of transportation is the bus. If you want to go to Monaco, you can choose to take bus 1 or bus 2. Tickets can be bought at the ticket machine outside the railway station. One-way ticket 1.5 Euro, and boarding is 2 Euro.

Since it is morning exercise, to be honest, I went to the city on foot, but if I go to the city by bus, it is also a good choice to walk all the way down.

First stop: Wang Uterus (Royal Apartment)

The King's Uterus, built in the17th century, is not particularly luxurious in appearance compared with palaces in other countries, but the castle made of egg-yellow and white rocks still gives people a comfortable and elegant feeling.

Because the opening hours of 10 are from 10 to 5: 00 pm, and it is too early to visit. After breakfast in the restaurant opposite, I will look around and see the scenery. Later, I found that there seemed to be movement at the city gate. It turns out that the guards at the gate are routinely kicking the goose steps, but they are all alone ... Because they are going to Milan later, they don't have much time to visit the castle, so they can only walk slowly down the hill and continue walking.

Second stop: Notre Dame Cathedral without Original Sin

Go along the main road, and soon you will see the cathedral of Notre Dame without original sin. Built in 1875, it is the general parish of Roman Catholicism in Monaco and the belief center of Monegasques. Although I didn't go in to visit, the appearance of Byzantine architecture also killed many memories.

Third stop: Avenue

At the intersection, you can see the panoramic view of Monaco port. The buildings are close to each other, and the port is full of yachts and cruise ships. It is not difficult to imagine that Monaco is a country with high income and high living standard. Finally return to the holiday market near the station.

In foreign countries, the market is one of my favorite places to go, because the local market can reflect the food culture or customs of a place to some extent.

I don't know if today is Sunday. Not many people visit the market, but the prices of fruits and vegetables are quite close to the people compared with those in Britain or Switzerland!

Although Monaco's land area is less than 2 square kilometers, this short visit only visited two administrative districts and two districts, and more than half of them have never been there. Come again next time!
