Australian students immigrate to Canada.
On August 12, 2008, Immigration Canada launched the Canadian Experience Class, which is mainly aimed at work visa holders and international students with Canadian work experience.
Canadian experience immigrants are mainly aimed at overseas workers and students with Canadian experience, because they have:
1. Understand Canadian society and job market.
2. A certain English or French language ability.
3. Other relevant abilities can help them successfully change from temporary residents to permanent residents (i.e. immigrants).
Apply for qualification
Canadian experienced immigrants have minimum requirements for applicants:
You must plan to live in a province outside Quebec.
While gaining Canadian experience, you must have a legal study or work permit.
Professional or technical work experience belongs to the classified management of Canadian labor industry, including O-type management experience, A-type professional experience and B-type technical technician experience. If it is a worker, the application mainly depends on work experience and language ability (depending on different types of work). If you are an international student, in addition to the labor factor, the application also depends on the education level.
International student ※
International students must complete two years of full-time study in Canada and obtain a diploma or certificate. They must have more than 1 year full-time working experience in Canada or equivalent qualifications in the two years before application. Full-time work means an average of 37.5 hours per week. In the Canadian labor classification, the job category must be one of O, A and B.. The work experience of students during their study can't be counted. If you attend a two-year master's program, you must complete another short-term program, and the expenses will be borne by the master's program. Students must have legal residence status when applying.
Language requirement ※
Canadian experienced immigrant applicants must have the corresponding language communication skills. Different types of jobs require different language skills, mainly depending on the job. If the language does not meet the requirements, the application may be rejected. Applicants can choose one of the two official languages. They can prove their English ability by taking the IELTS test, their French ability by TEF, or provide written proof of their language ability. The Canadian government advises applicants to take the IELTS test. If a written explanation is provided, it must be able to prove the applicant's listening, reading and writing ability, which depends on the approval of the visa officer.
Second, the province nominated immigrants.
The provincial nomination plan is an immigration project launched by various provinces in Canada and supervised by each province. The Federal Office for Immigration only handles the formalities of physical examination and criminal examination, and all other formalities are handled by the provincial governments themselves. For international students, each province has an international student nomination plan. Let's talk about the nomination schemes for international students in BC and Manitoba.
