Which province is Baihetan Hydropower Station located in?

Baihetan Hydropower Station is located in ningnan county, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province and Qiaojia County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province. This is the second cascade hydropower station developed in the lower reaches of Jinsha River. It has comprehensive benefits such as power generation, flood control, sand blocking, improving downstream shipping conditions and developing shipping in the reservoir area.

Baihetan Hydropower Station is located in the lower reaches of Jinsha River, at the junction of Dazhai Town, Qiaojia County, Yunnan Province and ningnan county, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Its upstream is connected with Wudongde cascade hydropower station, and its downstream tail water is connected with Xiluodu cascade hydropower station. It is the second stage of the four-stage development of the lower reaches of Jinsha River (Yalong River mouth to Yibin), about 22 kilometers away from Ningnan County.

Baihetan Hydropower Station is the second of four cascade hydropower stations in the lower reaches of Jinsha River-Wudongde, Baihetan, Xiluodu and Xiangjiaba. The dam site is located in ningnan county, Sichuan Province and Qiaojia County, Yunnan Province, with the upstream about 4 1km from Qiaojia County and the upstream about 182km from Wudongde dam site. The downstream is about 195km away from Xiluodu Hydropower Station, and the river mileage of Yibin City is about 380km.

The power station is 306km away from Kunming Highway, 400km away from Chongqing, Chengdu and Guiyang, 1 150km away from Guangzhou, 1200km away from Wuhan in Central China and 1850km away from Shanghai in East China.

Engineering composition:

Baihetan Hydropower Station is a Class I (1) project. The hub project consists of barrage, flood discharge and energy dissipation facilities, water diversion and power generation system and other major buildings. The barrage is a concrete hyperbolic arch dam with a crest elevation of 834m, a maximum dam height of 289m, a vault thickness of 14.0m, a maximum arch end thickness of 83.9 1m, and a maximum extended foundation. .

The arch at the top of the dam is about 209.0m long and is divided into 30 transverse joints and ***3 1 dam section. Concrete cushion seats shall be set at the elevation above 750.0m, enlarged foundations shall be set at the bottom of dam sections 4 # ~ 25 #, and no longitudinal joints shall be set for the dam. The dam consists of plunge pool and Erdaoba, and the flood discharge facilities include 6 surface holes, 7 deep holes and 3 flood discharge tunnels on the left bank of the dam.

The underground powerhouse is symmetrically arranged on the left and right banks, and the tailrace system consists of two units and a tailrace tunnel. There are four tailrace tunnels on the left bank and the right bank, three of which are combined with the left bank diversion tunnel and two with the right bank diversion tunnel.
