Angels have light blue eyes - Saoirse Ronan in "Brooklyn"

The director probably prefers Saoirse Ronan’s eyes. Every close-up seems to suck people in. I remembered that I had seen these eyes before. They were so light that they were almost colorless. They seemed to have no focus, but also seemed to be full of sadness, seemed to be simple and confused, and seemed to be gentle and determined.

Some people say that Saoirse Ronan is the combat paralysis among facial paralysis lolita, starting from "Atonement". For some people, just sitting like that is a drama. When you look into her eyes, you can feel strength, struggle or comfort, and the expression becomes secondary. If there is an angel in the world, then her eyes must be this light blue, which will make people feel excited and willing to believe.

Unfamiliar lifestyles, unfamiliar people, and even different tones can make people lonely. Suddenly hearing a song from her hometown, she felt uncertain at first and then burst into tears. Even though there were so many emotional ups and downs, the heroine only moved her brows slightly, and her unintentional performance moved people's hearts even more.

Perhaps it is because I realize that my hometown is out of reach, so it is better to bury her deep in my heart and live out my wonderful life. The rhythm of the film becomes brighter. The heroine makes friends locally, works hard to gain the trust of her colleagues, improves herself by attending night school, and happily falls in love. The period pictures and bright tone make the mutually tolerant love between two young people particularly romantic.

An angel should have a pair of eyes that can understand the sufferings of the world. She doesn't have to be beautiful, but she can make people feel at ease just by looking at her. She doesn't have to be very bright, but she can make people feel warm when they see her. She refuses to give up, and can't help but want to trust; she is tolerant, and she can understand your emotions; she is persevering and courageous, and can overcome any difficulty.

She will also be confused and in pain, wavering between home and far away, and hesitant before stability and responsibility. Some people say that luckily she returned to Brooklyn without betrayal. I really love Saoirse Ronan's appearance in "Brooklyn". The pastoral scenery of Ireland and the modern scene of New York are in sharp contrast. The same long skirt also has various interpretations. In the film, she has a plump figure, smooth skin, and is so beautiful that she is not aggressive at all. She is like a girl around her who has just entered society, struggling internally and confused about her future. She even suspects that she deliberately gained weight for this role to achieve this ordinary effect.

Facial paralysis also requires effort. Making the paralysis fit the plot and life is a real acting skill.
