Instructions for Mainland China residents to apply for visiting relatives in Taiwan

First, the applicable object:

(a) according to the "Regulations of Taiwan Province Province on the Entry of Civil Servants and Persons with Specific Identity into mainland China", civil servants in Taiwan Province Province and their blood relatives within three generations in Chinese mainland who are not allowed to visit relatives, visit the sick or have a funeral in Chinese mainland.

(two) to apply for settlement in Taiwan Province Province in accordance with the provisions of the second paragraph of article sixteenth of the cross-strait regulations.

(3) Their parents and children have household registration in Taiwan Province Province.

(4) People with original household registration in Taiwan Province Province have blood relatives within three generations in Taiwan Province Province.

(5) Their children are spouses of people in Taiwan Province Province and have been allowed to live in Taiwan Province Province for a long time.

(6) Having lived in a free zone for two consecutive years and obtained the local right of abode, and having immediate family members or spouses in Taiwan Province Province (if the relatives in Taiwan are foreigners, Hong Kong and Macao residents, they must obtain a residence permit in Taiwan). Applicants specified in items (1), (3) and (4) of the preceding paragraph, who are over 60 years old and suffer from serious illness or injury, may apply for their spouse or children to accompany them.

Second, the number of applications and matters needing attention:

(1) The number of applications for extension of visiting relatives specified in items (1), (3) and (5) of point 1 shall be limited to 2 times a year. The duration of each stay is one month, and you can apply for staying again after the expiration. If the duration of stay is one month, or if an extension is applied before the expiration of one month's entry, an extension shall be applied for once (one month), but the cumulative stay in the whole year shall not exceed two months (calculated by the application year). The period of stay starts from the day after entry. For example, if you are allowed to stay for one month, the applicant will enter on June 15, and will be at sunrise on July 15.

(two) according to the "Regulations on the Cross-Strait" Article 16, paragraph 2, who applies for settlement in Taiwan Province Province, who applies for coming to Taiwan and extending the stay period, may be allowed to stay for one month to three months at a time, and the cumulative stay period shall not exceed six months each year; Those who are adopted by people in Taiwan Province Province and are under the age of 12 shall stay for no more than 6 months. (3) Applicants under point 6 shall stay for no more than one month, and may apply for an extension once if necessary, with a term of no more than one month.

(4) Those who stay in Taiwan beyond the time limit or engage in activities inconsistent with the purpose of visiting relatives shall apply for short-term stay in Taiwan after the expiration of the period of non-permission, but this is not limited.

(5) When mainlanders apply to enter Taiwan Province Province, the documents presented in the mainland shall be verified by the Straits Exchange Foundation, a consortium legal person.

(6) If the applicant wants to come to Taiwan by direct cross-strait flights, please tick "Other" in the application form "the third area he passes through" and indicate "direct cross-strait flights".

Three. Documents to be prepared:

(1) Please fill in the Application Form for Entry and Exit of Personnel in Chinese mainland Area in detail, and attach the color photos of the front half-length coated paper taken in the last year. (5) Letter of Guarantee: The guarantor shall issue a letter of guarantee signed by himself, and the original and photocopy of the guarantor's national identity card shall be checked by the service stations of the Immigration Bureau (see the description on the back of the letter of guarantee for the qualification of the guarantor).

(6) Power of Attorney: Documents delivered by other relatives and friends in Taiwan Province or travel agencies shall be accompanied by power of attorney in addition to documents delivered by the applicant in overseas regions, Hong Kong and Macao regions or by the respondent.

(7) Copy 1 copy of the third area re-entry visa, third area residence permit or Hong Kong identity card (if the applicant is on the mainland and has not yet obtained the third area re-entry visa, he/she should get the original entry and exit permit from the airport office of China Travel Agency at Chek Lap Kok upon arrival in Hong Kong).

(8) If the license fee is NT$ 400 yuan, the sender should attach a registered reply envelope and fill in the recipient and address, which is not required by the owner.

Four. Application method:

(1) Where the applicant is overseas, he shall apply to the China embassy or consulate abroad, representative office, office or other institutions authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

(2) Applicants from Hong Kong or Macao should apply to Hong Kong China Travel Agency (4th floor, Lippo Building, Lippo Center, 89 Queensway, Hong Kong) or Macau Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (Block F-K, 6th floor, Empire Plaza, 41-417, Xingang, Macau).
