What information is needed to apply for a visa?
1. Basic application materials
(1) Passport: Original passport with a validity period of more than 6 months and a blank visa page and a copy of the passport photo and data page.
(2) Visa application form and photos: 1 "Visa Application Form for the People's Republic of China" and 1 color visa photo that meets the requirements and is pasted on the application form.
(3) Proof of legal stay or residence (applicable to those who are not applying for a visa in the country of nationality): If you are not applying for a visa in the country of nationality, you need to provide a valid certificate of legal stay, residence, work, and study in the country where you are located. Original and copy of certified or valid visa.
(4) Original Chinese passport or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who once had Chinese nationality and later became a foreign national): If you are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you must provide the original Chinese passport and passport photo information Page copy.

(2) Identity proof materials of the inviting unit or individual, such as company business license or copy of Chinese resident ID card, etc.
G visa:
A connecting flight (car, boat) ticket with a confirmed date and seat to the destination country or region.
J1 visa:
Visa notification letter issued by the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and an official letter issued by the media where the reporter works. (Applicants should first contact the Press Office of the Chinese Embassy or Consulate to complete relevant procedures.)
Please note: Holders of the certificate must report to the local people's government at or above the county level in the place of intended residence within 30 days after entering China. The public security organ’s entry-exit management agency applies for a residence permit.
J2 visa:

L visa:

M visa:
(1) Business activity documents, economic and trade fair invitations and other invitation letters issued by trade partners within China. The invitation letter must contain the following contents:
1. Personal information of the invitee: name, gender, date of birth, etc.;
2. Visit information of the invitee: reason for coming to China, Date of arrival and departure, place of visit, relationship with the inviting unit or inviter, source of expenses, etc.;
3. Inviting unit or inviting person information: name of the inviting unit or inviting person, contact number, address, unit seal , signature of legal representative or inviter, etc.
(2) A copy of the business license of the inviting unit and the identity certificate of the signer of the invitation letter.
Q1 visa:
If it is for family reunion, you must provide:
(1) Chinese citizens living in China or with Chinese permanent residence qualifications An invitation letter issued by a foreigner, which must contain the following contents:
1. Personal information of the invitee: name, gender, date of birth, etc.;
2. Invite Visitor information: reason for coming to China, intended date of arrival, intended place of residence, intended period of stay, relationship with the inviting person, source of expenses, etc.;

(2) A copy of the inviter’s Chinese resident ID card or a copy of the foreigner’s passport and permanent residence permit;
If it is for foster care, the following must be provided:
< p>(1) A notarized foster care power of attorney issued by the Chinese embassy or consulate abroad or a foster care power of attorney notarized and certified by the host country or China;(2) A letter of agreement to accept foster care issued by the trustee accepting foster care and a copy of the ID card;

Q2 visa:

S1 visa:
If it is a long-term visit to relatives, it must be provided

Z visa:

(2) "Foreign Experts Work Permit in China" issued by the Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs and "Invitation Letter from Authorized Unit" or "Invitation Confirmation Letter";
(3) Industrial and Commercial Administration "Registration Certificate of Permanent Representative Office" of foreign (regional) enterprises issued by the management department and "Invitation Letter from Authorized Unit" or "Invitation Confirmation Letter";
(4) Commercial certificate issued by the cultural administrative department Approval document for theatrical performances (only applicable to applicants who come to China for commercial performances) and an "Invitation Letter from Authorized Unit" or "Invitation Confirmation Letter" issued by the Foreign Affairs Office of the relevant provincial (regional, municipal) people's government.

Please note: The holder of the certificate must apply for a residence permit within 30 days after entering China from the exit and entry administration agency of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level in the place of intended residence.
