"Attila: Total War" (Total War Attila) is the latest "Total War" series game recently produced by Creative Assembly. In this game, the Roman Empire has been divided into eastern and western parts. The Western Roman Empire has to worry about the Goths and the Vandals in the Germanic region; while the Eastern Roman Empire has to face the rise of the Sasanian dynasty in Persia. But even so, the real threat actually comes from Attila in the Far East. After taking charge of the Xiongnu clan, this talented and strategic leader will lead the Xiongnu cavalry all the way westward, destroying all forces that dare to stand in the way. The player must play the role of a monarch who is "mantising himself as a chariot" along the way, working hard to prepare for defense and stop Attila's invasion at all costs.

It is worth mentioning that in this game, players can choose the Huns to burn, kill and loot all the way, but they cannot play Attila himself. The leader of the Huns can only attack as an enemy. Although the region and basic gameplay of this game are not much different from "Rome 2: Total War", players can still enjoy some new game features in this game. The most special one is the defensive strategy. In "Attila: Total War", players can choose to clear the field and destroy all resources that may help the enemy.

2. Advanced operation

Hold down the Shift key and click on the first unit and the last unit on the force panel to select all the units, just like selecting files on the desktop; select After setting the troops, hold down the left Alt key and then press the right mouse button to drag them to maintain their formation and move to the designated position.

Hold down the Shift key and then right-click to issue various commands, which will be executed in sequence.

Hold down the Alt key and then right-click on an enemy unit to force the selected friendly unit into melee mode (for example, allowing the spearman to enter melee combat directly without throwing the spear).

Hold down the right Alt key and use the right mouse button to drag the troops to the specified position. The troops will gradually complete the required formation while moving (instead of initially forming a formation and then moving).

Hold down the Alt key and click on the siege unit to enter the "manual aiming mode", which will allow you to accurately select the location for bombing.

Hold down the Alt key and drag the selected units to the specified location. This will allow them to maintain the distance and relative position between units (high-speed units will automatically reduce their speed to follow low-speed units). This is especially useful when guarding units like siege engines.
