Beitian Village is a natural village in Diaolou Town, Lingao County. According to the biography of the founder in Wang Family Tree, Fang Wang, the founder, was born in the late Southern Song Dynasty (1276). Unable to bear the invasion of Yuan soldiers, he moved his people from Putian, Fuzhou, Fujian to Hainan, looking for a place far away from the war. It has been more than 750 years since Lao Quan founded the foundation in Beitian Village. According to historical records, Lao Quan has been bred for 27 generations.
During these 750 years, the descendants of Lao Quan, the king of ancestral home, lived in all corners of the country and were the largest Wang Xing ethnic group in Lingao County. In Hainan Lingao and Danzhou, such as Baopu Village, Longtian Village, Lantian Village, Daoyan Village, Longlou Village, Shengda Village, Boxian Village, Nantang Village and Beitang Village; Ma Le Village and Hanmo Village in Danzhou are both developed from Beitian Village.
