Planning and progress of irrigation project of Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station in Jinsha River

The project is implemented in three phases (15), covering 2 1 districts and counties of Yibin, Luzhou, Zigong and Neijiang and Shuifu County of Zhaotong, Yunnan, with a total population of12,375,500. It is planned to build, rebuild and expand three medium-sized reservoirs 13 with a storage capacity of 3407 10000 cubic meters. The irrigation area is divided into two main canals, north and south. The head of the north main canal takes 98 seconds cubic meters of water, with a total length of 122.68 km, and the head of the south main canal takes 38 seconds cubic meters of water, with a total length of 107.34 km. Xiangjiaba Irrigation Area covers 9 counties of Yibin City, including Yibin County, pingshan county County and Changning County, with an area of * * *10.589 million mu, accounting for 45.6% of the total irrigation area. We are assisting the relevant departments to step up the collection of social and economic information, the investigation of the main channels of irrigation areas and the investigation of the physical indicators of immigrants, so as to start construction as soon as possible. Xiangjiaba Irrigation District is located at the head of the canal in Yibin County, with a total length of 27 kilometers. From Anbian Town, Yibin County, the North Main Canal needs to open a tunnel with a length of 10 km, and build an extra-large aqueduct across the Minjiang River to bring the Jinsha River water to Zigong and Neijiang.
