Ma defu's prototype is Xie Xingchang. Xie Xingchang is the former party secretary of Funing Village in Suining Town, and the first immigrant who moved from Xihaigu to Suining Village. He also attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Suining Village, and many plots in the play came from Xie Xingchang's real experience.

Xie Xingchang 1975 graduated from Guyuan Health School and became a rural doctor in his hometown. After that, he served as the secretary of the village branch for thirteen years. He goes out to meet the villagers every day and is familiar with the people around him.

From 65438 to 0997, Fujian leaders visited Xie Xingchang's hometown and put forward the idea of immigration. At that time, Xie Xingchang was very happy because he was finally able to move out of this ravine with the villagers. After Xie Xingchang's propaganda, the first batch of immigrants moved to Ningmin Village, and more and more villagers joined the ranks of immigrants. Finally, Ningmin Town was formally established.

From 65438 to 0999, a group of experts came to Fujian to teach villagers to cultivate mushrooms. In this way, the life of the villagers is getting better and better, and the mental poverty has been solved to a great extent. These are all Xie Xingchang's personal experiences.
