It was considered that the unique natural conditions such as climate, soil and light in Bangui Township were suitable for the growth of pitaya, and the fruit was big and sweet. It will take three to five years for Bangui Township to develop pitaya into another pillar industry after pepper and Amomum villosum. At present, 400 mu of demonstration planting has been developed.
