Rhoda's Ecological Status

Due to the influence of human activities and southeast monsoon, the overall vegetation coverage rate of Luoda Mountain is only 60%, of which bare rocks account for about 8% of the regional area, mainly distributed in the windward side of the east. Plantation (including some degraded forest areas) is the dominant vegetation type in this area, accounting for 80% of the total vegetation coverage, followed by shrub grass, accounting for13%; However, evergreen broad-leaved forest, deciduous broad-leaved forest and evergreen deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest only account for 7%.

The overall level of biodiversity is low.

The biodiversity in this area is less than 20% of the surrounding Taishun Wu Yanling Nature Reserve and Anji Wanglongshan, and the overall level of biodiversity is low. In the annual survey, * * * recorded more than 590 species of higher vascular plants, less than 1/3 of the existing nature reserves. There are more than 200 species of insects and 0/00 species of birds, which are obviously less than those in the surrounding areas. Other biological groups, including mammals, amphibians, reptiles and soil animals, have relatively few species and quantities.

The quality of regional inorganic environment is relatively good.

Except Tianzhu Temple Reservoir, the water quality of major reservoirs can basically meet the Class II water quality standard. The air is fresh, the main indicators can meet the national second-class standards, and can meet the requirements of regional human settlement, landscape and protected area construction. Regional soil is barren, soil fertility, especially nitrogen and phosphorus content is low, and the thickness of soil layer is mostly less than 0.3 meters.

To sum up, it is obvious that Luoda Mountain has also lost most of its original nature in the process of human development, but its overall ecological condition is better than that of Sanyang Wetland, and the quality of inorganic environment such as water, soil and gas is higher. The main reason is that the species and quantity of organisms need to be restored, and the ecological function needs to be improved and brought into play.
