Sanmenxia is in Henan. Why don't people there speak Henan dialect?

It is disrespectful to say that Sanmenxia people don't speak Henan dialect. Sanmenxia Lingbao accent is biased towards Shaanxi. One thing we know is that in the Spring and Autumn Period, Zhou was made a vassal and another "Fenshan Stone" was set up (the existing Xiaomakeng Guo Museum in Sanmenxia is called Xiaomakeng Museum by the local people in Sanmenxia). From this, the place name of "Shaanxi" was obtained, and the state of Qin was enfeoffed in Shaanxi. In the pre-Qin period, local governors fought for hegemony and wars continued, while the state of Qin had Hangu Pass, which could resist the invasion of the vassal states of the Central Plains. Many people know that Hanguguan is now in Lingbao, so from a historical point of view, Lingbao's accent is close to Shaanxi dialect.

Besides, Shaanxi dialect (Sanmenxia Shanzhou District) borders Lingbao in the west. Humans lived and multiplied again in the Paleolithic Age (6000 years ago). In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Guo's city was in Shaanxi County. In the tenth year of Qin Dynasty, Shaanxi County was established (390 BC). We know the story of the false danger destroying Guo, and the state of Yu is in this area of Pinglu County, Shanxi Province. If you drive from Shaanxi county to Pinglu county, it only takes twenty minutes. Anyway, I just want to tell you that today's Shaanxi dialect is mixed with Pinglu dialect and Lingbao dialect. If you are a foreigner, it is difficult to distinguish Shaanxi dialect, Lingbao dialect and Pinglu dialect.

Let's talk about the situation in Sanmenxia City first. Sanmenxia is an immigrant city born of a dam. In 1950s, in response to the call of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman Mao, the Sanmenxia Dam on the Yellow River was the first dam in the world, so the 11th Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Water Resources and Hydropower was first established, and builders from all over the country first came to Sanmenxia to work and live and settle down. As a result, the "eight major factories" in Sanmenxia were built one after another, namely pesticide plant, Cotton Mill, Henan Second Printing and Dyeing Factory, Equipment Factory, Zhongyuan Measuring Instrument Factory, Sanmenxia Aluminum Factory, corundum sand factory and chemical machinery factory. Due to historical reasons, in the 1970s, Sanmenxia was abolished and the prefecture-level city was returned to Luoyang. Until 1985, Sanmenxia was upgraded to a prefecture-level city, and tens of thousands of Luoyang people came to settle in Sanmenxia. It can be said that Sanmenxia is a city pulled by a train. By the end of 1980s, the accent of Sanmenxia was basically Henan dialect. At present, Sanmenxia has a population of more than 300,000, and at least 80% of the people communicate in Henan dialect or Putonghua.

There are three other counties and cities, yima city, Mianchi and Lushi, all of which speak Henan dialect.

That's ridiculous. Sanmenxia has a population of 2.3 million, and at least 1.3 million people speak Henan dialect. Why is Sanmenxia the only place in Henan that doesn't speak Henan dialect?
