Notes on tourist visa application

(China citizens only)

To apply for a tourist visa, you need to go to the embassy in person, except in the following circumstances:

/kloc-applicants under the age of 0/6 can be represented by their parents, but they need to produce a birth certificate or household registration book (original and photocopy) that can prove their relationship;

If the applicant has retired, he can entrust others to handle it (a power of attorney indicating the client's name and ID number is required);

To apply for a tourist visa, you must provide the following materials, and the embassy has the right to ask the applicant to provide other materials when necessary.

1. The applicant's passport is valid for at least six months (from the date of going abroad) and has at least one blank visa page.

2. Form 14 filled in English (every item on page 1 and page 2 of the form should be filled in, and page 3 must be signed by the applicant himself and indicate the date of application). Applicants must attach two recent 2-inch color photos. Please paste one color photo on the 14 form and the other color photo for scanning. Photos must meet the following requirements:

Recent photos taken within 3 months, with the photo sizes of 35mm (width) and 45mm (length) and no white edges;

Face bareheaded (if hats or ornaments are required to be worn according to special religions or customs, the hats and ornaments shall not cover the applicant's facial features), and the facial dimensions are 25mm (width) and 35mm (length);

3. Letter from the company where the applicant works agreeing to leave the company, and stating the working hours, position and salary of the applicant in the company. The letterhead used in the letter should indicate the company's name, address, telephone number and fax number. The letterhead needs to be stamped with official seal.

4. If the applicant has no job, one original and one copy of the household registration book are required. The original will be returned to the applicant after examination. Applicants can also provide relevant documents to prove that they have returned to China as scheduled, such as bank deposits to prove that they have sufficient funds.

5. If the applicant is sponsored by a Singapore citizen or a Singapore permanent resident in China, it is not necessary to comply with the provisions of Articles 3 and 4 above. However, the guarantor must submit the application to the embassy in person, and provide the completed V39A form and a copy of the guarantor's ID card.

7. Tourist visas are generally valid for 5 weeks from the date of issuance. Visa holders can enter and leave Singapore multiple times within five weeks. The number of days of each stay is determined by the officials of the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Bureau, with a maximum of 30 days.

8. The visa processing process takes three working days.

9. Before the application is approved, the applicant may require a deposit of 5 100 yuan per person. The embassy will notify the applicant to pay the deposit on the second working day after accepting the application. Description of deposit payment

Applicants who need to pay the deposit will be notified by the embassy to go through the payment procedures on the second working day after submitting the application form. The applicant shall receive the customs declaration form in quadruplicate (the bill of lading indicates his name, deposit date, ID number and contact telephone number), and go to the counter of deposits received RMB 5 18 yuan on the first floor of the head office of China Bank, and hold the first and third copies of the customs declaration form stamped by the bank (receipt and exchange notice) and the complete guarantee signed by the applicant. Instructions for refunding the deposit

1. Please take the initiative to show your passport and tourist visa card when entering Singapore. When you leave Singapore, officials at the Singapore border checkpoint will take back your visa card and stamp your passport with an exit stamp. If the visa card has not been recovered, please take the initiative to hand it over to the border inspector.

2. The deposit can only be refunded after the embassy receives the notice from the Immigration and Checkpoint Bureau. Applicants can call for consultation one month after leaving Singapore, and they can make an appointment to receive the guarantee after confirmation. 4. If the applicant can't handle the deposit refund formalities in person, he can issue a power of attorney and attach a copy of the client's ID card. The client goes through the formalities at the embassy with the power of attorney, a copy of the applicant's passport and a deposit receipt.

If the visa card is not returned or the embassy is not authorized by the Immigration and Checkpoint Bureau to refund, copy the deposit receipt, the first page of the passport and the visa page with the entry and exit seal and send it to the embassy.
