I think Suzhou is very attractive, especially its gardens.
Humble Administrator's Garden is one of the four major gardens in China. It is the largest garden in Suzhou and the best garden in southern China.
The site of this garden was a scholar's garden in the Tang Dynasty and a temple garden of Dahong Temple in the Yuan Dynasty. In 15 13, during the reign of the Ming emperor, an administrator named Wang occupied the temple and transformed it into a private villa and garden, which was an artificial island created by digging lakes and piling. A few years later, the Wang family sold the garden and changed hands many times since then. It is very similar to the appearance of the late Qing Dynasty, with many pavilions between the intricate ponds and islands. It consists of three main parts, surrounding a big lake: the central part (Humble Administrator's Garden), the eastern part (once called the pastoral home), and the western part (the auxiliary garden). The house is located in the south of the garden.
Yuan, the owner of "Master of Nets Garden", showed the skillful skills of China landscape designers to create unique metaphysical masterpieces by integrating art, nature and architecture. Residential areas include: entrance hall, sedan chair hall, main hall, a two-story hall and a backyard. In the western garden, there is a curved central pond, surrounded by pavilions, dotted with solid rocks, trees and flowering shrubs. These represent the scenery of several seasons.
Kunming is not only the capital of Yunnan, but also a tourist destination. There are many places of interest all over the city. Because of the mild climate all year round, Kunming is often called "the city that never dies". I have been to many places around Kunming, but the stone forest is my favorite. Stone Buddha rests in Lunan Yi Autonomous County, which is about120km (75 miles) from Kunming. It covers an area of 400 square kilometers, including large and small stone forests and many other scenic spots. There is an old local saying, "If you have been to Kunming without seeing the Stone Forest, you have wasted your time." Indeed, the stone forest is amazing. Walking through the stone forest, tourists marvel at the natural stone masterpieces and are puzzled by the intricate structure. Magnificent, strange and steep landscapes have created countless labyrinthine scenes, such as
The main stone forest, the secondary stone forest and the ancient stone forest are all characterized by various forms of stones. Animals, plants and even people can be found here. Some are elegant, some are rough, and each one is lifelike and has its own characteristics. However, the Stone Forest-its sculptures are carved by nature herself-is always a real miracle for tourists.
Daguan, which means "spectacular scenery", is the most appropriate name for parks and pavilions. Like many other ancient buildings in China, the Daguanlou has experienced several chaos, destruction and restoration due to the change of dynasties and civil war.
I have been to all these places and feel that these places are beautiful.
I hope you are satisfied.
