How did Koguryo's adherents open up territory for the Tang Dynasty?

The Tang Dynasty is an open and closed era, and it is also an era of advocating martial arts and ambition. Once upon a time, famous Tang Dynasty soldiers came forth in large numbers. There are thousands of "General Fan" in the two books of the Tang Dynasty alone, and dozens of nationalities are recorded. The famous "Fan Jiang" caught a lot. Today, I will introduce Gao Xianzhi, one of the most famous Koguryo immigration generals, and Gao Xianzhi's major achievements in his life.

Gao Xianzhi has biographical records in both the old and new Tang books, which are roughly the same. According to records, Gao Xianzhi is a Korean, and his father's name is Shaji. As for the previous generation, it is difficult to verify. Some historians have analyzed that Gao Xianzhi's family may be a member of Koguryo royal family, and some scholars believe that his family is a Koguryo aristocrat. His birth year is not recorded, and his death year is 755, which is shortly after the An Shi Rebellion broke out. Some scholars have analyzed that Gao Xianzhi's father, Gao Sheji family, has gone through a very tortuous process when he settled in Hexi area and became one of the four towns and ten generals. In 668 AD, after Koguryo was destroyed, Tang Jun moved some Koguryo people inland. But in 677 AD, the Tang Dynasty conferred the title of Gao Zang as the Governor of Liaodong and korean king. "The first overseas Chinese were sent back." In other words, because of this political incident, some Koguryo people who moved in before moved back. The ancestors of the anti-aircraft chicken are probably in this relocation team. The twists and turns are that Gao Zang rebelled later, and the Tang Dynasty once again "stayed in Longyou, Henan". It should be at this time that Gaoshe Chicken House was moved to Longyou.

So Gao Xianzhi should be from Longyou. He joined the army with his father in Anxi from the age of 20. According to historical records, Gao Xianzhi is handsome and good at riding and shooting. Because of his father's protection, he was awarded the position of guerrilla general (from five grades to official position), and then he was promoted to the same rank as his father in Anxi.

After joining the army, Gao Xianzhi made many exploits on the battlefield. He has experienced countless battles in his life, the most important and famous of which are the following four wars:

First, expedition to small countries. Little Bologna is a small country in the western regions located in Gilgit region of Kashmir, and a big Bologna is located in Baptistin region of Kashmir. These two countries were originally vassal states conferred by the Tang Dynasty. In the early years of Kaiyuan, Xiao also visited the imperial court and took his land as Suiyuan Army. However, in the 28th year of Kaiyuan (AD 740), the ambitious Tubo began to woo Xiao Bolu and betrothed the Tubo princess to Xiao Bolu as his wife. At that time, more than 20 small countries in the western regions joined Tubo one after another and stopped paying tribute to Datang.
