The Natural Resources of Duanxin Township

Since liberation, the whole town has been relocated three times, that is, in the 1970s, the port hydropower station was built to repair Duanxin Reservoir, and 952 households were relocated from Duanxin Village, Jinkeng Village and Wangcun Village with 424 1 person. Flooded 4357 mu of paddy field and tea garden 1030 mu. In the 1990s, Xiaozhuang Hydropower Station was completed and the reservoir was restored. From 199 1 to 1993, Xiaozhuang Village moved 180 households with 759 people, and 180 people moved out of Tian She Xiaoer Reservoir.

The existing cultivated land area in the township is 14 179 mu, including paddy field 12536 mu, dry land 1643 mu, and the total tea garden area is 1 1000 mu. The forest area is 255,000 mu, the total storage volume is 434,000 cubic meters, the forest coverage rate is 88.6%, and there are more than 200 floating fish ponds. Mainly produces grain, tea, forest, bamboo and rape, and also produces other crops, agricultural and sideline products and local products.
