Is it easy to get a visa in Chile? What is the specific process?

Step 1. Determine the travel plan to Chile.

Applicants need to confirm the specific date of going to Chile and book accommodation and round-trip air tickets.

Step two. Go to the website of the Chilean Embassy in Beijing to fill in the information.

From March 20 13 14, applicants from the Consular Section of the Chilean Embassy in Beijing can go to the designated visa application website, register and submit their applications.

The following information is required to complete the submission:

Effective English spelling of the applicant's name and contact address;

Passport information is valid for six months from the date of arrival;

E-mail;

Certificate photos in JPEG, GIF or PNG format (width/height is 90× 120 pixels), and the photos should not exceed 100KB.

Upon completion, you will get a number to submit the visa materials.

Step three. Prepare application materials.

The materials required to apply for a tourist visa in Chile are:

Passport valid for more than 6 months;

The original invitation letter from Chile should indicate: the reason for the invitation, the name, position, address and telephone number of the inviter, the length of stay and the payer of the travel expenses. The inviter must sign the invitation letter at the Chilean notary office and be certified by the Chilean Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

On-the-job certificate, with English/Spanish translation, indicating the address of the unit, telephone number, applicant's position, working years, salary and exit record, and notarized by China Notary Office;

A deposit certificate of RMB 50,000 yuan or more with a freezing period of more than 3 months issued by the bank;

The payroll for the last three months, if issued by the bank, shall be stamped with the bank seal; If the enterprise sends it directly, it needs to notarize the tax bill of the enterprise for three months, with English/Spanish translation;

Round trip air ticket reservation form.

Applicants under the age of 18, whose parents are in China, shall be notarized for birth and parental consent, and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Embassy of Chile.

Step four. Submit materials to the Chilean embassy in Beijing.

Applicants should bring the application materials and online application number to the Chilean Embassy in Beijing to complete the submission, pay the relevant fees and wait for the interview. The embassy doesn't accept mail.

Beijing Consular Office conducts interviews every Wednesday and Friday morning.

Step five. interview

The staff of the consulate will interview the applicant with the application materials. The interview must come in person.
