Procedures for China Mainland to apply for the right of abode in Hong Kong:

1. Get the application form from the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ where the household registration is located.

2. Preparation materials: birth certificate, applicant's residence certificate, valid travel document, Hong Kong permanent identity card of father or mother, and parents' marriage certificate.

3. Application materials: submit the application form and supporting materials to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ where the household registration is located.
