Do you need no criminal record to go abroad?

Legal analysis: China citizens need to issue a certificate of no crime when they leave the country, and they need to issue a certificate of no crime when they apply for an ordinary visa to go abroad, study abroad, immigrate and work, so as to prove that they have no criminal record and get a visa more smoothly.

Legal basis: Article 8 of the Work Specification for Issuing Certificates of No Criminal Record by Police Stations (Trial) meets one of the following circumstances, and the police station may issue certificates of no criminal record:

(a) the political review of the recruitment of civil servants by state organs;

(3) A notarization institution shall notarize citizens' criminal records according to law;

(four) citizens engaged in activities stipulated by laws, regulations and rules must be based on the premise of no relevant criminal record;

(5) Other circumstances in which the public security organ at or above the provincial level deems it necessary to issue a certificate of no criminal record.
