There are not many British people in Singapore. According to data released by the Singapore Bureau of Statistics, Singapore's population proportion in 2022 is 3.26 million local citizens, 530,000 permanent residents, 1.39 million non-residents, and the total population is 5.18 million. The majority of Singaporeans are Chinese (not called Chinese, Chinese generally refer to Chinese), accounting for about 74%, and the rest are Malays, Indians and other ethnic groups.
