Qiongshan district's natural resources

Qiongshan district is rich in water resources. Nandujiang, the largest river on the island, flows through Jiuzhou, Yunlong, Longtang, Fucheng and Guoxing Street in qiongshan district. There are also seven small rivers with rainfall collection area of more than 50 square kilometers, such as Yanzhou River, Tielu River, 36 Quxi River, Yacheng River in Jiazi Town, Yanfeng East River in Jiuzhou Town, Yanfeng West River in Yunlong Town and Baishi River in Dapo Town. Hainan Longtang Waterworks and Rujun Waterworks undertake the water supply function of Fuhai District and meilan airport and Jiangdong New District.

In terms of aquatic resources, the freshwater aquaculture area in the whole region is nearly 10,000 mu, and there are more than 30 kinds of common freshwater fish, mainly carp, and shrimp, crab and mussel are also abundant.
