Why did Mazu spread to Taiwan Province Province?

In the early days, many Han Chinese were immigrants crossing the sea, which often caused shipwrecks. Therefore, they prayed for Mazu (the patron saint of the sea) to bless peace. After immigrants arrived in Taiwan Province Province, many people also lived by the sea, and Mazu belief became more and more prosperous. With the changes of the times, Tian Fei was posthumously named as the Goddess of Heaven.
