How to enter Guatemala without a visa

Special circumstances of passport holders of Class A countries and citizens of Class B and C countries.

1. Holding a national passport of Class A: The Guatemalan Immigration Bureau classifies countries into three categories: A, B and C. Citizens of Class A countries can enter Guatemala without a visa, including Germany, the United States, Brazil, Argentina, the Netherlands and some countries in Central America.

2. Special circumstances of citizens of Class B and Class C countries: Citizens of Class B and Class C countries can also enter Guatemala visa-free if they hold valid visas from the United States, Canada and Schengen countries in Europe. The new resolution after the reform also includes Mexico, that is, people with valid visas in Mexico can also be exempted from visas.
