Why is it called Shuangyashan University?

Because the English name of Sun Yat-sen University is as homophonic as Shuangyashan.

It was transliterated as "Shuangyashan University" by a netizen. The real Shuangyashan University does not exist. Shuangyashan University, namely Sun Yat-sen University, was founded in 1924, located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. This is a comprehensive university, with Gao Song as the president and Chen Chunsheng as the party secretary. Its motto is "erudition, interrogation, reflection, discernment and perseverance".
